What is
the All-on-4TM
protocol?

The All-on-4TM Protocol is a revolutionary approach developed over a decade ago by Paulo Malo and the Malo Clinic team.

It is the result of the placement of just 4 titanium implants in each jaw through a quick and minimally invasive procedure, possibly completed in one single day*.

*Following an exam, a 3D X-Ray, and the delivery of a treatment plan, it is possible to install the transitional bridge on the same day surgery is performed. A second bridge will be made 4 to 6 months later.

How does it work?

These implants act as a foundation, allowing the placement of a fixed set of teeth, similar to natural teeth. This technique stabilizes bone levels, keeping the jaws healthy.

By tilting the two posterior implants 45°, the All-on-4TM allows even those patients with virtually no bone to have fixed teeth without the need for a bone transplant. The result is fixed (non-removable) natural looking dentition, indistinguishable from natural teeth.

Short and minimally invasive procedure

Before the procedure, the oral surgeon will make a careful initial evaluation to determinate the best treatment plan for your dental condition.

The initial evaluation consists of a comprehensive examination and diagnostic imaging. With the help of a computer software program we create a 3D image of your jaw, and “virtual implants” are placed in the 3D image to ensure accuracy at the time of your surgery.

To facilitate the procedure and ensure quality, the fixed bridge is manufactured before surgery.
While you wait for your prosthesis to be made at our lab, you have access to the total privacy and comfort of an individual recovery room.
